 Rosie says, No Tricks, Just some Treats for this KAL!

hi fellow knitters -
I finished the knitting part of our Oct. Challenge - but will wait a bit to put it together and make into the Banner - just wanted to share my knit kal with you - what colors did you use?  I wanted to use Green, but it was difficult to work with [acrylic yarn with goldish thread running thru that kept getting tangled/stuck/split] - so left the J in green, knit the O in red/green variegated, and the Y in red.

 October 15
 Our October CHALLENGE knitalong is today!

NOTE: previous notice said colors would be orange and black for this KAL - save those skeins for November's challenge!

 First, this will not be a dishcloth!

Second, supplies:  you do not need cotton yarn - you can use some of that regular knitting yarn you have in your stash.

Third, this is a Christmas/Holiday project

Supply list [all skeins are partial skeins] -
*Main Color [sample knit in white]
* 1, 2, or 3 Contrast colors [sample uses pink, turquoise, and green] - I am using dark Green
* knitting needles, size 9 U.S.

Challenge in this project: Duplicate Stitch and Reading a Chart
 -duplicate Stitching is simply embroidering over the stitches you've knit -
  There are many resources online and in knitting books
 - here is a good online source for Duplicate Stitching:
Duplicate Stitching

Begin by casting on 31 stitches in Main Color, for your first of 3 triangular pieces.  Happy Knitting!
