Materials: 1 skein cotton yarn
Needle: #6 US Knitting Needles
Notes: SK2P = Slip 1 stitch, K2Together, pass slip
stich over.
SSK = Slip 1 stitch, slip another
stitch, K2Tog.
Special Notes: When you complete the “P2” in row 2, (prior
to working the YO SK2P), the YO is already in place. Just continue working from
there.
When you come to “YO, P2” in row 2,
make sure you wrap the YO all the way around the needle.
Cast on: 34 (Multiple of 7 + border: 28 + 6= 34)
Border:
Rows 1-4: Knit across.
Pattern:
Row 1: K3, P28, K3
Row 2: K3, *P2, YO, SK2P, YO, P2; Repeat
from * to last 3, K3.
Row 3: K3, P28, K3.
Row 4: K3, *P2, K1, YO, SSK, P2; Repeat from
* to last 3, K3.
Row 5: K3, P28, K3.
Row 6: K3, *P2, K3, P2; Repeat from * to
last 3, K3.
Day 2:
Row 7: K3, P28, K3
Row 8: K3, *P2, YO, SK2P, YO, P2; Repeat
from * to last 3, K3.
