April 16th KAL Day 1

Here is the 1st day of our KAL.

The suggested color is Pink, Lavendar or any solid color. For those who
like variegated, a light pastel variegated would be acceptable. Needle
size is 7. Cast on 35 stitches

Row 1: (K1, P1) across, ending with a K1

Row 2: (K1, P1) across, ending with a K1

Row 3: (K1, P1) across, ending with a K1

Row 4: (K1, P1) across, ending with a K1

Row 5: (K1, P1, K1, P1), K27, (P1, K1, P1, K1)

Row 6: (K1, P1, K1, P1), P27, (P1, K1, P1, K1)

Row 7: (K1, P1, K1, P1), K27, (P1, K1, P1, K1)

Row 8: (K1, P1, K1, P1), P27, (P1, K1, P1, K1)

Row 9: (K1, P1, K1, P1), K4, P1 *K5, P1* repeat 3x, K4, (P1, K1, P1,
K1)

Row 10: (K1, P1, K1, P1), P5, *K1, P3, K1, P1* repeat 3x, P4, (P1, K1,
P1, K1)

This cloth is called "Growing Up", because the lace goes up the cloth. The designer is Janet Nogle, this will be posted in our Pattern group in the next few days.

Bind off and weave in ends


If you want to make a little longer, work the following rows:

Then work the 2 k1, p1 rows and bind off.
