Hi everyone, this is the first day of our KAL for February. This is a "pattern" design not a picture cloth. It is a knit and purl design.
It will also be posted on our overflow blog.

YIB: Yarn in back
YIF: Yarn in front

Suggested color is a light variegated yarn or a lavendar.
US Needle #6 or 7

Cast on 37
Border:
Rows 1-4: Knit across

Pattern:
Row 1: (RS) K1, *YIF, Sl 1 (KW), YIB, K1; Repeat from * across row, end with K1
Row 2: (WS) K1, P35, K1
Row 3: K1, * K1, YIF, Sl 1 (PW), YIB * Repeat from * across to last 2, K2
Row 4: K1, P35, K1
Row 5: (RS) K1, *YIF, Sl 1 (KW), YIB, K1; Repeat from * across row, end with K1
Row 6: (WS) K1, P35, K1
Row 7: K1, * K1, YIF, Sl 1 (PW), YIB * Repeat from * across to last 2, K2
Row 8: K1, P35, K1
