AUG 1st KAL Days 1 & 2

Here is our KAL for August 1st:

1 Skein cotton yarn (Light green or turq)

#7 US Needle

Multi 3 stitches (30 + 6 Border sts = 36)

Cast on 36

Border:

Rows 1 – 4:         Knit across

Pattern rows:

Row 1:  K3, *K2Tog, don’t move to right needle yet, now knit in the 1^st stitch and then move to right needle, K1;  Repeat from * across, end K3
Row 2:  K3, P30, K3
Row 3:  K3. *K1, K2Tog don’t move to right needle yet, now knit in the 1^st stitch and then move to right needle; repeat from * across, end K3.
Row 4:  K3, P30, K3

Day 2:
Row 5:  K3, *K2Tog, don’t move to right needle yet, now knit in the 1^st stitch and then move to right needle, K1;  Repeat from * across, end K3
Row 6:  K3, P30, K3
Row 7:  K3. *K1, K2Tog don’t move to right needle yet, now knit in the 1^st stitch and then move
to right needle; repeat from * across, end K3.
Row 8:  K3, P30, K3
Row 9:  K3, *K2Tog, don’t move to right needle yet, now knit in the 1^st stitch and then move to right needle, K1;  Repeat from * across, end K3
Row 10: K3, P30, K3
Row 11: K3. *K1, K2Tog don’t move to right needle yet, now knit in the 1^st stitch and then move to right needle; repeat from * across, end K3.
Row 12: K3, P30, K3
