Sept 1 KAL Day 1

Hi all, this is our 1st KAL for Sept. It is a stitch/Lace cloth this
time. Pastel Variegated is recommended but you can use
whatever color you like. Here are our Guidelines:

Use our KAL Blog if you don't see the rows. If you are a "Special
Notice" member, you will need to get your rows for day 2 - final from
our blog or checking our site for the "updated" emails. Yahoo doesn't
provide for "reply" messages to be sent to the Special Notice members.

For day 1 and day 2, I will post a photo of those days rows on our KAL
Blog for those who want to see if they are progressing correctly.

Using Lifelines will help with any project. If you aren't sure what
that is, there is plenty of info on the Internet about it but it is
basically where you put thread or thin yarn through a row already
worked, designing that all the rows to that point are error free. You
should document what row you put the lifeline in so you have a point of
reference. If you make any error after that point, you know you are OK
with the previous rows anyway.

Size US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles

Row 2: (WS) P1, K1 across
Row 3: K1, P1 across
Row 4: P1, K1 across
Pattern Rows:
Row 1: (RS) K1, P1, Knit across, end K1, P1
Row 2: (WS) P1, K1, P30, P1, K1
Row 3:K1, P1, K2, YO, *K2Tog, K4, YO; Rep from *to last 6 stitches, end K2tog, K2, K1, P1
Row 4: P1, K1, P30, P1, K1
Row 5:K1, P1, * SSK, YO, K1, YO, K2Tog, K1; Repeat from * to end, K1, P1
Row 6: P1, K1, P30, P1, K1
