 Hi everyone -
hope you've enjoyed this KAL - this little owl is so cute!  get a photo taken and post to your yahoo album - AND we will have a Contest for this KAL, winner to be chosen by the designer, Jodi Baldwin! Details will be posted soon -
   I knit another little cloth up yesterday - made with a smaller needle, so it's a baby-size washcloth - Fun!
  IF you want, you can use Jodi's directions to give your owl a face and outline all around, see her pattern for those details.

  The *challenge* for this cloth is using a Cable Needle ~
  grab your cold drink, your knitting needles and yarn - and
 let's knit up this sweet little dish-cloth ~

 I love this pattern!  and hope you will too - it's a fast knit - so you may finish it tonight~
  it will be a great cloth for a little one, or make a large
 size for a spa cloth, or a larger size would be great as a
 kitchen hot-pad.






[this was my test-knit cloth, done in Hot Pink, for my niece's baby, due any day now!]


 You need:
  - cotton yarn, solid color of your choice
 -  US Size 8 needles
  - Cable needle [only used in 3 rows! - if you don't have
 one, use a double pt. needle or even a pencil to hold those
 stitches]

  ~Finished cloth measures approx. 8.25 x 7.50 inches

  Abbreviations:

 K – Knit,
 P – Purl
  C4F – Cable Four Front: Place 2 stitches on a cable

 needle, hold in front of work, Knit 2 stitches then

 Knit 2 stitches from the cable needle

  C4B – Cable Four Back: Place 2 stitches on a cable

 needle, hold in back of work, Knit 2 stitches then

 Knit 2 stitches from the cable needle


To start:

  - Cast on 24 stitches
